The 2020 Vegan Fest was great! I'm so glad I went. The setting was scenic and family-friendly, there were several local vendors selling related products such as locally-grown herb plants and specialty sauces, and there was very ample free parking across the street from the USF Botanical Gardens. The event featured a good selection of food vendors and more than enough of most dishes to last till the end. Having attended many similar events, I can say that while this one may not have seemed overly "gourmet" to some, it was very good for its type and quite instructive.
My BBQ sliders and mac and cheeze from Dixie Dharma were both surprisingly good! In fact, there were several variations on mac and cheeze and other similar dishes at the event that would be family-friendly. Overall, everyone was courteous and very interested in what they were doing, which was producing quality, cruelty-free food with care and attention. Thank you!
What an amazing event so full of diverse experiences. I have never experienced a vegan event with so many great options. The music and atmosphere was amazing as well. I love that there were demonstrations to assist you in creating more recipes for yourself. I love the yoga activity class was pure and holistic. There were so many other vendors I want to try. I just love the culture of the event. The event gave those who were curious about the vegan lifestyle and those who are vegan fun options and places they can go and enjoy with family.
I had a blast, and got to experience a wide array of foods, and met several amazing people, with whom I now communicate with daily ! Definitely going again!!!!!!
