Low on ambiance but high on flavor. Definitely worth the price. You'll want to eat so much you'll make yourself sick ????

There are not too many places where you can have the owner, Mr. Lipton, come by your table to talk with you. I would have given 10 stars for the friendliness of the staff as well as great service

When you can enjoy the flavor of good smoked BBQ without sauce then in my book that is real good BBQ.

Found out that this fine team of people reach out to the community by feeding the homeless, meeting the needs of children and etc. There is even a person on staff that does disaster relief causes.

A visit at Lipton’s Fat Man’s BBQ and Country Cooking will result in a very good meal but also, you will be helping needy people in the community as well. Go and Enjoy!

We really enjoyed this stop. The buffet included lots of main course and side options. There were some extra hot special items that were prepared fresh upon request at no extra costs. Some of the buffet items were luke warm at best. There were lots of dessert options including numerous flavors of ice cream. Our waitress was happy, helpful, and most pleasant. If you leave hungry --- shame on you.

Great Homestyle Cooking. Buffet style. Ribs, fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and all the fixings. With a nice salad bar and a couple of different soups. Menu varies daily. Great quality for the price. Family owned and operated for years.

Must try old fashioned family owned restaurant in Tampa, As the name suggests, it’s a great BBQ place. The food was fresh and loved the ribs. It was tender and yummy. The decor and food was pleasant and nice. I should mention how the staff made us comfortable. While I was about to serve myself some ribs, the staff who was refilling the food asked me to wait for a second and she got a fresh stock of ribs( though the food in pan was not dried at all) , that was really thoughtful and it added to the pleasure of eating there. I would definitely go back and will invite and suggest all friends and family. You guys are amazing. Cheers :)
