We came to Zorba looking for good homemade food. We tried their Mlookheye. By far, the best I’ve had in a long long time.

We stopped in for a quick lunch today and were welcomed warmly to a fantastic restaurant. The dogs was delicious. We had a mixed grill platter that was a perfect meal with rice and salad along with wonderful homemade flat bread and dipping oil. Very clean, nice people, we'll be back.

I had a hard time finding a place in Tampa with good middle eastern food and I'm so happy I came across this place! Amazing food and amazing service!
I'm not a fan of liver or heart AT ALL but the chef here still brought me a plate to try. He said trust me just try it.... be being the lady I am (I did) and omg!! It was so good! Never thought I'd eat so much!
My absolute fav though is the chicken, garlic sauce and the red sauce (I forgot what it's called).
After dinner they brought us tea and hookah. Always were attentive and never let my glass go half empty.
Thanks for the amazing service! It's customer service like this that keeps me and my friends coming back for more! Highly recommend!!

Found this place by accident but glad we stayed and tried it. The authentic food was really good and there was plenty of it. Service was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be going back.

We went to Zorba for the first time last evening (Saturday 5/25/19). We were not aware that it is mainly a buffet restaurant...we didn't want the buffet so we were given menu's to order from. We ordered a lentil soup - which was literally out of a can (I know the taste because I buy this brand at home). Also ordered hummus with pita...which was just ok (nothing great). For the main course we ordered chicken kabobs and lamb kabobs - which were REALLY good! My husband had the almond rice and he loved it. We also were given Moroccan tea, which was really good. A gentleman asked how our food was, and I did tell him everything was good except for the lentil soup. He did tell me that lentil soup really isn't "their thing".

No alcohol - bottle water served upon being seated - canned soft drinks.

There were some not so great things for which I am only giving 3 stars: the plates and silverware were dirty and looked like they hadn't been properly washed...we used our water to clean and wipe off all of the grease residue; took a really long time to get our food - from appetizer, to dinner to the check - a really long time; when we paid we asked for an itemized bill because it seemed we were being charged way too much - we were told an itemized bill was not available; 15% gratuity (we think it was 15%...could have been more) was added to our bill even though it was just the two of us dining....once again, we could not get an itemized bill; and, lastly, it was SO loud in the restaurant that we couldn't even hear each other talk! The music was really loud, and there were loud, screaming kids running all over the place.

All in all, we drove pretty far to go there (we wanted to try something new), and we can get kabobs closer to home so we probably won't be going back. But, if you like good kabobs and you are close by, you should give it a try.
