Best curry chicken, rice n peas I've had in a looooong time. Nice people too!

Best Jamaican food in the Tampa area hands down. The oxtails, jerk chicken and curry to very good. Escoviche fish is good as well but I've had better, just need an extra touch of seasoning. Lunch service is good but dont go on the weekend late. You will be waiting a long time for food. Not sure why but they work slow then but everyone is very nice.

I'd give 3.5 if I could. Food was passable but not mind-blowing. Meat patties were terrible though.. obviously frozen.. dry, and not homemade.. ripoff for the price.

Jerk chicken was decent, probably the highlight. I love goat but I found theirs chewy.. needed to simmer more. Rice was mediocre.. dry and flavourless.

Overall I feel I could do better at home with some internet recipes and a Crock-Pot. They didn't have juices available so couldn't try that.. not the end of the world but another negative nonetheless.

Establishment itself was clean and well put together.. no issues there.

It was my first time there and the Jamaican lady at the counter was very nice and asked how I enjoyed my food as well my first time trying soursop juice (it was very tasty!). The curry chicken I had was delicious. It also seemed quite busy on a weekday afternoon, which is a good sign!

Absolutely amazing. And great service and speed. Me and my girlfriend went there a hour before they closed and were greeted and treated politely and our food was out in a fairly shorter time than I was expecting at a restaurant before closing time. Will certainly be back during this trip!
