Cap's Pizza

I've ordered from Cap's 3 times in the past. Based on those experiences, I would have given them a 4 star review because of their combined food quality & service. Their pizza was good, service was better. My most recent experience was disappointing. I tried to place the order through the Slice app, but it didn't recognize our address, so I called it in instead. I asked the phone order taker what was on the Bomber because I couldn't find a description online, and even though I asked twice, the only answer I could get was "meat and vegetables". I felt as though I were annoying the order taker, but, nowadays, "meat and veges" includes a wide variety of possibilities, and I wanted to make sure I understood what I was ordering. Nevertheless, I assumed they were busy, and decided to let the question go, and I went ahead and placed the order. I was told to pick it up in 30 minutes, I arrived in 20, the front door was propped open, there were flies in the kitchen, landing in the exposed flour on the island counter, I was not acknowledged for several minutes after I arrived at the register, even though two people were standing there, and my pizza was already sitting on top of the oven. When I finally was acknowledged, the person was very abrupt, and again, I felt like my patronage was annoying them. I live less than 5 minutes away. When I got the pizza home, the bottom was soggy, the crust was hard, and the overall flavor, in my opinion, was not good. Disappointing.

The staff here was friendly. We always look for you pizza places when we move into a new town and this was the first place we tried. The pizza was good. Not great, but good. I however, found there calzones to be Great!

They don’t deliver but they definitely have the best pizza in the area. Not only that the vibe is really cool in the restaurant. Arcade games and funky signs. Recommend!

Cap's employees and patrons are great!!!! Loads of fun once you get to know them...all employees are very particular of their jobs and want to give their customers the best they can. Excellent food too????????????
