Looks like a nice restaurant. We stopped over thinking it's a fish market. Will definitely go back to eat, but we were looking for live crabs.

We had a small gathering of friends and family and wanted a nice place to dine with a relaxed ambiance. This place was perfect. Upon walking in, the soft background music and decor made us feel welcomed. The crab cakes were my favorite. Kimmy’s Greek salad is also scrumptious. Superb service and fresh seafood.

My husband and I have tried to get in to Joey's a few times but were never able to get reservations for an evening time- they have the limited days to be open in the evening. Once in, we saw an very interesting place. On one hand, white table cloths, fancy table setting,- and we're wondering if we are dressed up enough. On the other hand, the decor and overall atmosphere gives the feeling of being inside a shack, thus the name, I suppose. Service was poor to start. At least 3 large parties with not enough help. I believe one of the owners was our waitress, and she was frazzled from the beginning and left me feeling almost anxious as well. She brought my husband the wrong beer and was never back soon enough, so he went ahead and drank it. Our salads came and were delicious with fresh strawberries and feta- the dressing was extremely tasty, too. Our waitress asked if we wanted fresh black pepper- yes we did, but she never came back, so we ate the salads without. The food came. I got the fresh snapper. It was really fresh and tasty, but I was surprised that it was overly buttery/oily or something that really wasn't a sauce but I felt contributed to the fish being somewhat soggy. My husband was well satisfied with his baked manicotti, which I tried; it was very fresh and pasta seemed homemade. Overall, Joey's was good. But this place needs work on the service for sure.

Had the Scottish salmon with wild rice. The sauce was absolutely delicious. The salmon was buttery rich and cooked perfectly. And, the rice was so nutty and flavorful! The best brown rice I've had in Florida. I've had a lot of worse meals for a lot more money along the Treasure Coast.
The meal was so good, I almost forgot the garlic crusty bread served ahead! Superb!

This fine seafood restaurant and Fish Market is a hidden local gem. They serve lunch there daily until 4 and serve dinner Thursday and Friday evenings. We had stone crab and oysters for starters, a green salad and a delicious entree of grouper served with a side of pasta and a seaweed salad. They have a nice selection of wines available as well. Highly recommend.
