Always happily greeted with a hug by the owner Csilla to their intimate family owned restaurant. Excellent service and amazing food. You get what you pay for and will never leave disappointed. Well worth the wait and always have innovative and flavorful specials especially the smoked and grilled bone in prime rib!
Needs more than 5 stars! I have never met owners so friendly. She walked around and worked along side her employees and loves doing it! the people that work there are the friendliest people i have ever seen in a restaurant staff. It is a family own restaurant that has really come up the right way. the food is absolutely amazing! it really felt like the people there were friends and family. HIGHLY recommend it.
Amazing local surf and turf restaurant. Amazing attention to detail from a chef who cares. Family owned with a friendly atmosphere. It is small so perhaps call ahead but it’s worth it. Good but small selection of wines and beer matched to the entrees. Well worth the drive from the intercostal.
First time having dinner at the Chill and Grill. The place looks bigger from the outside so was surprised it was a lot smaller inside. Driving by the place is always packed with cars but finally stopped to have dinner. We were told that the Hostess and her husband the head chef/dinner prep are the owners and have 2 sons that cook or wait tables. Menu is limited, which I personally like, so you are not overwhelmed with many items. But the choices are good and they have like 4 appetizer specials and 4 dinner specials also so in the end there is entry to chose from. Slightly pricey however food is very good. Sebastian Stew was excellent. I had Maui Maui over sauteed spinach with bacon and rice. My boyfriend had the crab cakes with roasted potatoes and green beans. Dinners were very very good. Quaint atmosphere, friendly people and family owned. I would give 5 star but I gave 4 because of its size and being very busy the wait times can be long otherwise it is a great place to enjoy a great great meal. We will be going back regardless because the food was great.
This restaurant has a top chef that prepares food like he knows what he's doing. I was told by the waiter he is also the owner.
The grits and shrimp were stellar. The crab cakes scrumptious. The sides were perfect.
We nearly left after ordering 2 drafts though when we were charged $14.95. Seriously that is just overboard. I guess they don't really want it to be a place for drinks and appetizers.
The prices were on the high side. But the food was very delicious.
