As a treat for my birthday I booked dinner here with several friends and was really looking forward to a culinary delight. I ordered the lobster bisque which was watery and had only a few small chunks of lobster. I only ate of few bites of this, and turned it over to my husband who agreed. Next I had the evening's tuna special. I normally love sushi grade tuna lightly seared, especially when it melts in your mouth and cuts like butter. This tuna was simply sub-par; it was spongy, and lacked that flavor that I adore. Overall the evening was a bland dining experience that was incredibly expensive ($200 for 2). As a local, and a person who frequents numerous restaurants who wow me with their seafood dishes, I was disappointed. Our service was lovely and the champagne splits were appreciated, other than that it was a bust.
Great food, well thought out. Probably one of best food in Vero. You can't compare this quality of food to Ocean Grill. Food clearly superior. Ocean Grill not friendly unless a local. Tides is much more upscale.
Fine dining by the beach. French inspired cuisine. Outstanding service. Doesn't have a huge wine list, but what they do have is quite good. Great place for a romantic dinner.
Had an early dinner here and enjoyed all aspects of the experience. Nice ambiance, great service, delicious food, and wonderful company all helped round out this fine dining establishment. Loved the conch fritters! Also really enjoyed my bleu cheese wedge salad. Might not order my entree again but whose to say that’s not a personal preference. Overall, it’s a restaurant worth trying!
My husband and I had the great pleasure of having dinner here last night. The staff is exceptionally attentive to their guests, the food is absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere and location adds that special touch. The owner and chef were also very gracious and appreciative when I thanked them for a wonderful experience and that says a lot about the kind of establishment they are running. If I happen to find myself in Vero Beach in the future, we will be certain to have dinner here again. And PS, that pecan coconut cake is to die for.
