Olle's Restaurant (Reservations Requested)

This place is a very nice, cozy spot. My friends and I had the grilled pork schnitzel for lunch and it was wonderful. Prices are a little high for what we got, but very tasty. Service was wonderful. We were disappointed that we couldn't linger longer in the restaurant, but the lodge personnel allowed us to sit and visit on the patio before moving inside the lodge lobby.

Very, very good food! Had the grilled schnitzel and was excellent and so delicious. My significant other had the Gordon blu schnitzel and said it was the best meal he has ever had….excellent service and very reasonably priced!! You must try any dessert but the amaretto biscotti layer cake is so light and delicious. We will be back no doubt!

Absolutely amazing! Best meal I've had in a long time. Authentic and amazing service. Book in advance they are open for a small window for dinner with a one woman front of house. Drove an hour from our home. Jager schnitzel and home made bread rolls were divine with an Estonian beer.

This is a gem of a restaurant a very slight detour off of US 231 in northern Florida. US 231 is a common route to get to 30A and other panhandle beaches from Atlanta and other points north. It is a small restaurant run by Olle and his wife, who are from Estonia, and the cuisine is, more or less, German. They are legitimately great cooks. My wife and I had two different schnitzels -- but the menu was much broader than that -- and both were divine. So was the cheese cake that we had for desert. It is located in the main building of a campground, so when GPS takes you up the drive to an older white one-story building, you are there. Since it is just the two of them and a helper, a reservation is a good idea. It is well worth timing your drive to be there at lunch or dinner.
