The Salt Block

The food was in very good but, the restaurant itself lacked atmosphere for the price. The music was too loud and the furniture was quite cheap looking. The patch job and painting they did for the walls was pretty unappealing as well. I'd go again alone for a good steak, but it falls quite short of any meaningful experience. It's certainly not a restaurant one would want to take a date to.

The food was amazing! Filet mignon melted in your mouth.. a wonderful dining experience and the staff and chef were super friendly!

Excellent food, I ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly. The reason I give this a four star is because we ordered dessert, and we ordered apple pie with vanilla ice cream and the waitress informed us there was only enough ice cream for the Brownie. Our meal was over $200 and we could not get ice cream on our apple pie. So we ordered the brownie with the ice cream for the apple pie, even though we specifically asked for the ice cream to be taken off the Brownie and put on the apple pie they still would not serve it to us that way. I did think that was ridiculous. Other than that it was a great experience.

Nice peaceful environment with great service and awesome food. Can't look at price bc you get what you pay for in the amount and quality. I strongly recommend this great place to eat.

Can't say enough about this place. We just moved to the area and decided we wanted to try some where new. We went out late, just the two of us (We have 4 kids). Our first date night out since the move. Got to the front door of the Salt Block and saw the "Sorry we are closed" sign. We turned to leave and a wonderful young lady came out and waved us in. We didn't want to be "those guys" who walk in at the last minute. They insisted we come in and dine. We were never rushed. The service was exceptional! The food was amazing! Everything was fresh and the beer was deliciously cold. Very nice and clean establishment. I have 7 yrs kitchen management and over twenty years of management and recruiting. This is a great business. Everyone who is part of their team should be proud. This is the best place we've been to in town, hands down. Thank you for a great date night!
