Drifters Riverfront Bar & Grill

Met friends for lunch to celebrate our 80th birthday. We traveled from 3 different directions a little over an hour for each of us so it was a central location. Taryn our server was so gracious and made our afternoon very pleasant. She took great care of us. Thanks Taryn. Forgot to say food was great too.

We had Reuben sandwiches. Both sandwiches would have been good had they had more corn beef in them. One half of the sandwich had appropriate amount of meat. The other half had very little. The corn beef was pulled and not sliced. With a price of $14.95 more was expected. Service on the other hand was good.

I reviewed this place previously however my experience this time was much better. If you follow me you know my “cheat meal” is always a fish sandwich and theirs did not disappoint! They have a lot of variety in the menu and lots of choice of where to sit with a restaurant downstairs, and indoor bar and seating upstairs and and outdoor bar and seating. The views are great. The staff is super nice and it gets really busy outside so patience is a virtue. Enjoy the views

Stopped in opening weekend of Bike Week. They take care of the Bikers as well as those without bikes equally. Parking lot was blocked in some areas for bike's only. Nicely done. Food was fast , hot, and great. A special thank you to Michelle, the down stairs bartender who took care of us. Her service was impeccable.

A large group of us had a great meal yesterday. I had a blackened chicken sandwich and black beans with rice. Chicken was perfect, not too done. The rice was delicious. Great View and nice people who did their best to accommodate a group of 30. Job well done Drifters!
