Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

Mt Dora has a bit of a slower pace. And so why would this restaurant be any different. It was a pleasure not to see this store so crowded and busy. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Initial impression wasn't very good as the cashier at the front must not have been having a good day. Almost surly. However everyone else was so nice and pleasant it made up for it. Well stocked buffet and the mashed potatoes were great. It was all good. If you're there between 1 to 4 weekdays and are over 60 there is a senior discounted price. Also there is a military discount.

Plenty of food choices, was very good and served hot. Service a little slow, filling drinks & picking up empty plates. All in all still a good deal for the money.

I ate there today, yes Easter Sunday, the service was great, the food was fantastic. Not even long lines or hard to find a table.
Sirloin to melt in your mouth, great veggies, loved the Brussels Sprouts, the mashed potatoes are loaded and so tasty. Good cornbread, yummy popcorn shrimp. Join now and get a good coupon for your birthday!

The service is very good, very fast. But the whole point is the food. I taste the food and all I taste is staleness. The food, to me, is very stale-like tasting. There are some choices that are good, but some aren’t. I would enjoy it more if the food tasted a little more fresh.
