Great pancakes and eggs benedict. Skip the biscuits and gravy. Excellent service and prices. Plan to return.

Countryside Diner is like being in a "country version" of a Huddle House, they have "wood" tables and some "wood" on the decor inside the door. I had the 2 egg combo and everything came the way I ordered it (I like my eggs over well but not wrecked). I had more food than I could eat so next time I am getting the senior order for sure (half the food). My husband had the "Bulldog" breakfast and he said it was very good, he cleaned his plate so it must have been. They kept coming around offering coffee refills too. The reasons that I can't give five stars is because the only breakfast potato option is deep fried home fries, (no hash browns here, I need to avoid fried foods and I don't eat grits) so I only ate a small amount of them. They were not "fried to a crisp" though, so that was a good thing. Also, the people that came in after us had their order taken before us (one of my biggest pet peeves). Otherwise, we had a "good" experience this time.

We had been here when it was the Combat Cafe so we were surprised. It was very good. My omelet was very tasty and the deep fried potatoes were just great. The biscuit was so so, thought it was a packaged product.

    Waitress was awesome!
Food VERY bland! Can tell that most is not made from scratch. Ordered 2 egg combo with home fries and bacon and a side of sausage gravy. And both gravy and potatoes are not fresh home-made! My eggs weren't OM more like OM Lite, closer to OE! And the Orange Juice isn't Orange juice!
Like I said the waitress, Tatyana, was AWESOME! GREAT PERSONALITY AND whenever we needed something, she got it right away, and did an amazing job taking care of us! Deserved a better tip than the $10 we have her but that's all the cash we had at the time!! As far as stars for the service, she gets 5 plus stars!☺️ Everything else gets 3 ?‍♀️ my opinion and just being honest!

10/25/2020 New restaurant in town. I always like to order biscuits and gravy at a new place. Usually a side of sausage patties to enrich the dish. I gotta tell ya, their biscuits and gravy didn’t need it. Instead of specs of sausage that looks like pepper, they had chunks of sausage, light airy biscuits. Definitely a food destination deserving a revisit. Still trying to get into a groove but extremely polite.
