I Barbque Express

We got sat next to the drink station and it smelled like mildew. Our server was sweet and new, you could tell by another server who kept giving her a hard time about mistakes. The chicken was dry and the pork was chewy and dry. The macaroni was good. The coleslaw was literally tinted brown. The fried apples were so sweet that it was like eating apple jelly. The fried okra was quite bitter. The brisket was dry as well. Overall we were very disappointed. We enjoyed our server though, which warrants 3 stars. But if you are looking for a hometown barbeque place, this isn't it.

Feel at home here. Service is good. Food is wonderful. Very nice place. Very clean as well. We will be back

Grilled chicken lunch platter was seasoned perfectly, moist, delicious! Love the cinnamon? flavoring in baked beans & moist corn bread! Made me feel comfortable, even dining alone. Great service, food. Lots locals, working men in restaurant--good sign--good food at fair prices.

The baked brown beans were disgustingly sweet but everything else was excellent. The chopped pork and chicken was very moist with excellent flavor and just the right amount of bark on the pork. The potato salad was also good, creamy and good mustard flavor. Staff were very friendly and food came out really quick.
