My favorite joint for breakfast. Very accommodating for special diets. The flavors in all of their foods are top notch. Ask for Crystal and get their shrimp and grits. You're welcome!

Always a good meal. Love the alligator tail. They make it the best.

The two waitresses were very friendly. The restaurant itself is a delight to walk around and see the old with a fabulous menu. Great history behind this restaurant and excellent food

We had a fantastic meal tonight at Red Wing.
The Fried Green Tomatoes & Fried Pickles was my choice. I lived the tomatoes, they were breaded and fried perfect. My husband had the Duck Tenders. They were coated with an Almond breading and served with a delicious berry sauce.
We both chose the Red Wing Royal. A deliciously tender strip steak, medium rare, topped with mushrooms & artichokes. The best steak I've had since moving to Florida.
We decided we had room for dessert but I knew before dinner I was gonna try the Chocolate Lava Cake.
Dear Lord it was good. Served with Vanilla Ice Cream, perfect end to my meal.
The hubby decided in the Peach Cobbler and it looked really good.
Overall it was a great first impression and we hope to return again soon.

It was very rustic, since 1948.
If you want fancy don't go. The food was excellent, service was quick . they do not have hard liquor. I would go again,so get your rustic on and have fun. Ps..the deserts are delicious and huge. Prices are very reasonable!!
