Great food, great service!

Vayan tiene the best food and customer service

We went early on Sunday, a little after 4pm. The restaurant got steadily busier as we ate. Our drink order was taken pretty quickly and the drinks came out quickly. The chips and salsa were fair, but not nearly as tasty as I have had elsewhere. It took a while for the waitress to come back for the food order. The food did come out within a decent amount of time. We had a variety of items. My Father had the three seafood combo in a chimichanga. But there was not much seafood in the dish. But it was served with rice and beans and was a fair portion. My mother had vegetable quesadillas which was plentiful and very good according to her. My wife had beef and chicken fajitas. She or I did not like the way they were prepared with too much tomato sauce. I had three enchiladas, one of each, chicken, beef and cheese. They were just okay. The sauce was fair and the chicken was my least favorite and cheese was my favorite. It came with beans and rice. The refried beans are usually one of my favorites. But I did not care for theirs at all. The rice, however, was outstanding and the best part of the meal. I also had a margarita, which was on special. I like my drinks stout and I wanted to ask if it was a virgin drink because I couldn't taste the alcohol. Overall none of the food was impressive other than the rice. The inside was very well remodeled with new floors, colorful, tropical booths, tables and chairs. Very nice. The service was good. I don't know if I will be back as we have a favorite Mexican restaurant a little farther away. Hopefully the food will improve.
