The best sausage gravy I have ever had! Delicious breakfast options; quick and courteous service and the cutest doggy decor everywhere! It is cozy, quaint, and just delicious! So glad we stopped in to try the best breakfast in Mount Dora!

Great breakfast, great lunch, and great staff. I’ve been going to Highland Street Cafe for years and can honestly say they have some of the best diner food in Lake County. The omelettes and cheeseburgers are amazing. Definitely recommend the steak and cheese omelette or the half pound cheeseburger. You will not be disappointed.

I drove up to Mount Dora to find a place to have a nice breakfast this morning. I had not been to Mt Dora in many years.. The breakfast here was awesome.. The omelet was made and cooked perfectly by someone that obviously knew how to really cook an omelet.. The homemade biscuits were delicious also... I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys a small family owned place that obviously has pride in the food they serve.. ????

Always nice time when we come here. Great breakfast. Small Town, cozy with friendly staff. Just beware. It is popular and small. It's a challenge to sit anything over 4 people because of the layout.

The service gives a four. Kindness exudes. Open faced roast beef disappointed. Beef was slicked thin and on white bread, not specialty bread. I prefer slow roasted chunks of tasty meat. The Ruben pastrami was very tasty. Homemade chips lacked seasoning. Burger was delicious.
