The Windsor Rose Restaurant and British Tea Room

What a great place to meet a couple friends. Lunch was delicious, British choices were great. Tea, scones and clotted cream were ok but not as good as if I were in England. The staff was excellent and it had an authentic English feel to it. Have already recommended it several times to others. It’s small and cozy like several places in England that I’ve been. I had the salmon which was very good. A friend had the shepherds pie which she said were yummy. Looking forward to going back.

Lovely place. British atmosphere. Makes you feel as if you were in UK. Food delicious. Can't wait to go back someday.

Not your traditional Victorian tea room. Food was fair but the scones were delish. If you make online reservations be warned that if you do not receive an acknowledged confirmation, it is not guaranteed. We were told they just don't check online much. Odd. By chance they were able to seat us for a birthday celebration. Staff a bit gruff but we were told they were unexpectedly busier than usual so working very hard.. Ambiance lacks that special occasion appeal and service is slow, but could be they were overwhelmed

We came in for tea on Valentine's Day yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent even on the busiest day of the year. The food and tea was excellent. I've never tasted a scone that good in my life. It was like baked heaven. Thank you for a fantastic experience. We will be sure to visit again!

Fantastic tea room, actually quite room, and seemingly popular, but for good reason! The food was excellent, even for the pickiest in our group. Prices were very reasonable for the high quality of food, and the tea selection was extensive. The service was also tremendous, and the staff was very polite, going above and beyond expectations. We'll definitely be going back!
