Grand Oaks Resort

This is my second stay at The Grand Oaks Resort and I still love it. This time I stayed in a single cottage and don't it very comfortable and quiet. It is a duplex with a double next door and an 8 stall barn attached. Fridge, stove, King bed and full bath and central A/C. Sofa opens into a sleeper. Dog friendly with a fenced area for your dog right off the front door.

Fun place to go. Campground, hookups, club house, horses, riding, carriage rides, pool, pickle ball, Bistro, good food, 18 hole putt-putt. On weekends they have fog events, carriage horse competition. They also, have cabins for rent. Areas to house horses...and more.

We visited as part of an overnight bus tour. Lunch at the bistro was very good and served 38 quickly. We had a tour of the stables and a carriage ride tour. Tour guides were knowledgeable and obviously loved what they do. The grounds are beautiful and the tour guides made us want to come back for another visit perhaps for an event.

I absolutely love coming to this venue for the monthly Horse Shows In The Park shows. The facility is amazing and the grounds are always kept so nice and neat. My horse has ample room in the stalls and the whole show is run so smoothly. Jeanne does an amazing job accommodating everyone and the rings always run well. I have been coming to these shows for years and they never disappoint. The footing is one of the best footings there is and it is by far one of the nicest schooling shows in Florida. From the time I arrive on the property, to the time I haul back out, it is always like a mini vacation. I call it my home away from home. We often bring our RV as well and camp on the property. We have rented the cute little cottages too and they are fabulous. I can't say enough good things about this show and how well it is run. Everyone is so extremely accommodating and always ensures we have a great time. I already cleared my weekends for next years show season! You will definitely have to come up to Grand Oaks and see one of these shows for yourself. Such a fun time! Thank you Grand Oaks and Jeanne for yet another great show season!
