It was great only my second time there. It was worth the drive. And the pies are amazing. Great food and great service.
The food was over cooked and high priced for not being able to eat it. The staff was super nice and they were on the ball seating and serving us. The view was great. The little locals craft store inside the restaurant is really neat. Wish i could have bought more of the things they made. They were super cool. The iced sweet tea was a very large glass and was super tasty. They people there were friendly. Good place to take your children also. They have outdoor seating as well. I would try to eat there again. Maybe the cook was having a bad day. I will visit again hope it is better next time.
We have eaten at this Pine Island restaurant several times when visiting my wife's parents in Cape Coral, Florida before they passed away. We frequently had a table with 7 or 8 people. My favorites were the grouper fish sandwiches, the conch chowder and the key lime pie. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. There is a nice view of the fishing pier from the restaurant. It is a pleasant car ride on Pine Island to this restaurant in Bokeelia, Florida.
Cool little place over all, but nothing out of the ordinary. My wife and I stopped in for lunch. We had the Monday special meatloaf and conch chowder. The chowder was very good. Great flavor, big chunks of conch. The meatloaf was dry and bland. Good gravy! Nice view. If your in the area worth eating at, but I wouldn't make a trip for it.
