My family and I have been coming here for a couple of years now and have never been disappointed!
The food is always great and the prices as well!
Last night I was there with my boyfriend. During the meal I got a call that upset me and I started having a panic attack. Our server, Pam, upon seeing that brought me water and came to check on us frequently after that. It may seem like a small gesture, but honestly it meant a lot. Her job title may be server but she made me feel like family in that moment. So I wanted to take the time so say thank you. Thanks for the excellent food and the family atmosphere.
Every time my family visits, we have to go to the British Open Pub! The food & staff are excellent! Every time you go you know it's going to be wonderful!
Have been frequenting this place since 2004. As an Aussie and someone who lived in the U.K. for many years always have a hankering for British-type comfort food. Luckily, there's The British Open Pub to fulfill these cravings.
It's typical pub food and occasionally hit and miss. But when the batter is fresh there's no better place for proper English fish and chips. And, nowhere else can you get lamb shanks served with proper mint sauce ....not the American stuff in a plastic packet. If you yearn for British pub food at an affordable price this is the place to visit.
Nice place to meet friends for lunch halfway between Naples and Fort Myers. Very attentive staff good food and there daily specials are always a great choice.
Love this place. It's odd, but if I hanker liver and onions, here - right here is where I go. There are a great many tasty treats on the menu, and the servers are a pleasure ("Hi Jo-Jo!!"). My only wish, and it's stupid and minor, but I wish I could get proper British "mushy peas" with mint in it. So good. But if that's my only want, left unfulfilled, that's a great place to be. Get yourself a Black and Tan poured properly, grab a Cottage Pie or fish "SandWedge", and enjoy!
