Mel's Diner - Cape Coral

Joanne waited on us, she was lovely. Enjoyed her Jersey flair. 3 B's burger was good, except asked for Medium Rare, got medium well. Open face turkey was delicious. Homemade mashed potatoes and in house roasted turkey. Fried Green Tomatoes were perfect. Definitely will return!

We went to Mel’s Diner tonight for dinner. Our server was Tiffany she was so friendly and efficient. Our food was cooked perfectly. I even had the cook come out since it was late at night and tell him how much we enjoyed our food.

We have been going to this location since they opened and have gone through many managers and wait staff. I believe the current manager at this location is Matt. I will say is is the least engaging manager this restaurant has ever had. I have had a few food issues and he has never come to the table to address them. He never comes by tables to ask if everything is okay. In the past all previous managers have been on top of the game in customer service.

We will continue to have this our go to place for many years.

The food was good, the waitress excellent. We went for children and cancer. 5.00 donation and they gave you breakfast. 2eggs, 2pancakes 2pieces bacon and coffee and or juice. I only had 1 pancake. I am not a huge fan of the food they serve, my mother loves it so I go like yesterday for a wonderful cause.

Great comfort food dishes at great prices. Generous portions. Very fast friendly service. Great drink prices. Try the 3.79 margarita. Prime rib is top shelf. Definitely a place to return to often.

We are from Kentucky visiting Cape Coral and came here for breakfast. It DID NOT disappoint. HUGE portions and absolutely delicious. Cowboy was so friendly and helped us find a really great spot to watch the fireworks tonight!
