The food was okay at best. The service was horrible! For the money spent I expected way better food and service. Definitely will not be going back anytime soon. Our server had no clue about anything on the menu. She was more worried about being on her phone. Then was very upset that we didn't tip her well. Better service = Better tip.
We have been here many times and have sampled many items on the menu. The prices are a little high for diner compared to the portions and others in the area. The burgers have been good and breakfast items all have been good choices. We do not recommend the shepherds pie or
Pot pie. The place is nice, the staff is friendly and the manager has checked on us at all of our visits to see how we are doing and that is a plus. They will make it right if there something you’re not satisfied with.
I love this diner. The staff is super friendly and shows appreciation that you chose them. It was raining today and I saw a staff member go out and move a customer's car closer to the door. She had 2 small children and a baby in a carseat. That is service and I will go back time and time again. The food is AWESOME!
Bloody Marys after the farmers market on Saturday morning were simple and delicious. I had the western omelet and my husband ordered the chicken biscuit. Our food came out quickly and was very delicious. Our waitress, Denise, was playful and provided great service! Our tab was less than $25. We were very happy with our first visit.
We had heard Metro Diner in Cape Coral had a tasty meatloaf dinner. We arrived early (3-4)pm on a Friday and we were the first of the usual dinner crowd to arrive. Our hostess was very sweet and friendly. She made some suggestions that were spot on. The meatloaf was very tasty! It's not the typical tomato coated variety. It isn't stuff with fillers either! I was very happy as good meatloaf is hard to find in a typical restaurant. The side dishes were mashed potatoes and gravy. (next time I will ask for gravy on the side as I don't care for a lot of gravy) It also came with green beans and a generous portion of bread. For dessert we had their apple cobbler! We ordered two but the waitress told us they were huge and that we should split one. She was right!! It was huge! Looked like an entire apple pie with a big dollop of vanilla ice cream! Wow! Delicious! We will be back for more!!
