Had Brunch today, Stumbled on the restaurant on the internet, as I prefer non chain local offerings, The service was great, The atmosphere was just right, not too much, and not too little. The live back ground music not intrusive, and well selected. Noticed I'm saving the food for last, it was outstanding, can't wait to return. The entire staff should be proud. Thanks.
This is by far the best restaurant in town. The atmosphere is friendly , the staff is incredibly attentive and the food is to die for. Sunday brunch is fantastic. We all ordered different things and each was better than the next The Beignets are fantastic. Sunday brunch has bottomless mimosas for just $15. My favorite is the fried green tomato crab prosciutto Benedict.
We started with drinks. I got a apple martini and my husband got a Hurricane. Both drinks were very good! Then we order the crab and cheese dip with chips. It was delicious a little pricey at $18. Then dinner I order a great steak. It was cooked perfect. My husband got the shrimp Alfredo. He said it was great! We had a great dinner however it was a pricey place. It a great place for special occasions!!
Our waiter was funny and engaging. Answered all our questions about the meals and was willing to offer assistance in making our food order decisions. I would say the meals are a little pricey, but it was very tasty. Tables were not crammed tight which was great to get around. We were placed in a room that I believe is a storage room or office with a drape drawn across the room to separate. This was a little odd, but made for a nice quiet and private room to visit.
Fantastic service and a wonderful Southern meal for me and my folks. Started off with a great rendition of Oysters Rockefeller - my father wondered why he waited his whole life to try something so delicious. Mom had jambalaya and enjoyed the great balance of spice and flavor. Dad had chicken and dumplings, an exceptionally generous and delicious portion of the traditional comfort food. I had Cajun bouillabaisse that was fully stocked with seafood and flavor. We were all very pleased with our meal.
