Charley's Boathouse Grill

Wonderful place for an evening meal and drinks. Shrimp Trio with baked potato and a nice salad from the salad bar. We had a fantastic waitress tonight. Highly recommend

Very good food and service. First time of many to come that we will be visiting here. Salad bar is GREAT. Steaks and sides are stellar. Going back next for seafood. You won't be sorry to go. Ask for Jen to serve you. Best ever!

Charley's Boathouse Grill is a nice restaurant near the beach if you want some delicious seafood or steak. All entrees come with the huge salad bar and a side. You are also given baskets of delicious warm pull apart bread for the table. I ordered the Scampi Sea Scallops with the Rice Pilaf. The scallops were cooked perfectly, but there was so much liquid in the dish, it was almost like a soup. The rice pilaf tasted more like fried rice rather than a pilaf. The staff is friendly and attentive. Being that Charley's is by the beach, I think it is a little over priced, but you're paying for Estero Island. As a local, I wouldn't visit because there are so many good eats that are inexpensive, but I would take visitors from out of town for the experience.

My review is long over due. I have lived on this island for 13 years, since I was 7 years old we have come here for every birthday in the family. If you are deciding on a restaurant to dine at, look no further. Well run, amazing atmosphere, never had a bad experience with the servers, best quality food on island always perfectly cooked (I am very picky about how my steak) their options for coffee, drinks, and desserts are nice, and the salad bar has many options. I could go on for hours but you just need to experience it yourself

Our party of 8 enjoyed Charley's Boat house last night at 6:00 PM. Everything was delicious, from the fabulous salad bar, to the prime rib, lobster, scallops and shrimp. I have never been able to enjoy a 5 star meal if their bread is a failure. Last night's yeast rolls had to have been the best ever. I had to exhibit some self control, or there would be no room for the main course. I had the opportunity to speak to the owner, and was informed he had 40 plus years invested in this fantastic restaurant. When on Estero, you must dine at Charley's Boat house Grill.
