Matanzas on the Bay

Nice place. Everything we ordered was delicious and we didn’t wait more than 10 minutes to have our dinner right on the table!

Their selections are all worth trying. We visited here for the first time on our last visit to the area. We made sure we made it back here. This time we had the Stuffed Mushrooms for our appetizer. These were really good. Our entrees consisted of Stuffed Shrimp and Crab Cakes. Also very good. We closed it out with their Key Lime Pie, with Oreo cookie crust. This was amazing. The pie wasn't neither too tart, nor too sweet. Of the several places we ate Key Lime Pie, during this trip, hands down this was the best. The view of the harbor is a nice setting for a romantic dinner. The service was top notch, as well. Our server was very welcoming and attentive. She also made some great recommendations for dinner options, and high recommended the stuffed mushrooms. We'll be back on our next visit here.

Great service. Watched the dolphins in the bay while we enjoyed a lovely lunch. Kudos for the scallop appetizer and the conch chowder. The salad was pretty but iceberg lettuce? Balanced out, fortunately, by how good everything else was.

There is nothing NOT to like here. Beautiful atmosphere on the lower deck with ceiling fans to help move the warm air. I’d have photographed the food but it was so good we at it too fast! ???? but here’s a picture of the parking situation. ????

Never been here before but we loved it! We celebrated my mother in laws birthday here today and had a fantastic dinner. I had the broiled platter and my wife had the lobster.
