Plaka Restaurant

We were there for breakfast and cannot say enough about this little place! The price was very reasonable, the staff super friendly and the waffles were DELICIOUS!

I was craving a gyro, stopped here after a beautiful stroll on the beach and oh so happy I did! Awesome Gyro! Great sauce! Very generous portion! And an amazing server too, very thoughtful ! We'll be back!!!

Starting off our service was decent. As far as the food, I'm not sure I would consider this a good authentic Greek restaurant unless you're just looking for a gyros. The grilled octopus was okay but not quite cooked all the way. The taramousalata was actually revolting. It didn't taste anything like it should nor look like it should. I wish we had a better experience with the food as I was craving some good Grecian dishes although we did enjoy the village salad.

The gyro was good. However, the service was not. The place was empty, but no one was around to greet us. We sat ourselves and eventually the hostess came over. The waitress took our order, but disappeared after she brought out our food. Didn't ask how it was until 30 minutes later. We had to go up and get the check ourselves. I understand that it's out of season, but there was no need for such bad service.
