Good food, and, at the time, they were doing $1.00 Bahama Mama's! We had a great time with wonderful food. Our waiter was amazing! We had 17 people in our group, and he smiled and joked the whole time. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the lack of a good and easy to read Gluten/Allergy menu. Our waiter said it had recently been changed and our celiac people struggled to figure out what they could have with the spreadsheet the restaurant had on their computers at the table.

Applebee's you need more vegetarian/vegan options. My daughter had a lovely veggie burger with carrots and she said it was seasoned well and tasted good, but I have to ask, if someone orders a vegetarian/vegan plate, why on earth do you skimp on the vegetables portion? Also, why are veggie burgers SO small? Shouldn't they be twice the size of a normal burger? Heck, all they are getting is beans and veggies! Thank you to the cooks who did a nice job wrapping her veggie burger in a crunchy lettuce bun (the cheese is vegan cheddar we brought from home), but more than 5 broccoli pieces should have been called for, I mean come on, if she had ordered fries, she would have had half a plate full right? Why is it that those who choose to eat healthy are penalized? Sucks paying $7.99 for a plate of food and leaving hungry.

My cheeseburger was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The bun was soaked in too much butter on both sides so I didn't eat it. The lemons for my lemon water were rancid, both servings, so I passed on those too. The tomato slices garnish on both our plates were not ripe and bitter so we didn't get to eat those either.....and sadly my green bean sides started as lovely fresh green beans seasoned very well, but were SO overcooked they were mushy. Maybe that's why we left hungry....half our food was inedible. Not a big fan of Applebee's before we sat down and they did little to win me back. Bummer because the atmosphere was fun.
