Buddha LIVE

Fun place. Ran into quite a few people who knew each other though they didn't know we'd sail be there ... Crazy ...
The music was fun. Bartenders were personable. A good time was had by all!

The old Buddha is DEAD. Thankfully, it's been reincarnated into a much improved venue — Buddha LIVE. I stopped in last night after hearing that the bar was under new management and it is obvious that the new owner(s) have been hard at work cleaning the place up. The old ever-present smell of stale beer and cigarette smoke is almost completely gone, the stage has gotten a facelift, new games have been added to the back rooms, fresh faces are serving up drinks behind the bar, and the whole building is the cleanest I've ever seen it. So far the place appears to be maintaining its dark and divey rocker vibe, but without the literal grunge. Buddha has come a long way from the last time I was here, and from what I heard last night they're just getting started with what they have planned. Very excited to see this venue evolve into something bigger & better.

I have not been back to Buddha since I was 21, 11 years ago until last night, and to say I was impressed by the vibe and music compared to then is an understatement! The new owner must know what he is doing because the band was awesome and was jamming while improvising just like the dead or any awesome jam band. The keyboardist was improvising And so talented like he was Beethoven’s son! Awesome place now and hope to see it prosper with good bands and their great staff in the future!

Love the spacious bar .. small to.mid size stage.. with great live band music.. mostly on the ROCK side. Nice " Employees.. great and fast service... reasonable prices...
Good parking , and nice security personnel.
I would recommend this place to anyone who loves good live rock music...
They also have lots of Dart boards on the walls..and a Pool table... off to the right , when you come in.

We had the BEST time. Hairdaze was the live band. Will definitely be a frequent flyer.
