Kumo Japanese Steak House & Sushi

I used to love this place through and through. In the last few years though, the quality has definitely declined. The food isn’t nearly as good as it used to be and the restaurant should really work on their cleanliness. Step it up guys, get back to the beginning.

We have been to Kumos quite a few times, specifically for Hibachi. They do try to put on a show though communication is difficult often. There are better Hibachi in the area but not at this price. Avoid the sweet tea and stay with the traditional Japanese offerings and you will have a great time

I love Japanese steakhouses and this one was great. The drinks were strong and the food was great. The chef was funny and personable. I got the scallops entree and it came with about 8 scallops. My fiance got shrimp and calamari and he was in love. Our friend got the filet mignon and lobster and said it was worth the price. We also got some sushi which was delicious.

First time eating here and I was impressed. There was no wait, the staff were friendly and recommended a really good sushi for my fiancée and I (crouching tiger roll) . Also of note, the chef put on a good performance. I got the steak and salmon combination, which was really good. I will definitely be going back.

I have been to Kumo many times but this was the first time on a Tuesday. I must say it was a good day to go. There were no crowds and it was much quieter. I could hear over the hibachi noise. The food was delicious as always and the service was great. Yummy!
