The best BBQ in the area. If you can't get to North Carolina for real pit cooked pork, this is the next best thing. Friendly staff, fast service. Supportive of our troops in addition.

Delicious!! Warm friendly place with kind of an eccentric atmosphere, but the food is delicious and the staff is on point. They know the rules and regulations of the ADA since I am disabled and travel with my service animal and they have never questioned me or made me feel uncomfortable in their establishment. Mission barbecue and some of the best barbecue in Fort Myers, even understanding that it’s a chain. The prices are good and we like to go there for takeout and sometimes they take out isn’t ready by the time we get there so we have to wait around But I guess they don’t want to take the risk of repairing it or someone might not show up for. Overall an excellent place with excellent staff and a weird ambience LOL

I am so sorry to write this review. I had a very poor experience with Mission today. I called yesterday to schedule a catering order today for 15 people. I was told that I would receive a invoice, this never happened. When I called the restaurant to request the invoice, I was told that I would receive another copy however that never happened. I called and spoke to a young lady (I believe her name was Katy) in the catering department and I'm happy to say she was delightful. She finally was able to send me the invoice, which was over $200.00. No problem, I was prepared for the amount. What I was not at all prepared for was the amount of food that I would receive. Two people in my party chose NOT to eat and one person wasn't able to eat because they arrived later and there was no food left, no left overs or second trips happened. I had to run to the nearest grocery store to buy more food. Truly disappointed with my experience today. If you decide to cater with them, you might want to add your own sides or add additional head count to make sure you have enough food.

Fantastic BBQ! Everything was tasty and juicy. Very fresh as well. Great service. Everyone was super nice. There was a small mix up with our order but it was quickly rectified and and they compensated us for the extra time we waited. Mistakes happen but it’s all about how you react and fix them. Great job guys.

I don't usually give 5 star reviews but this place truly impressed me. The vibe is a very pro military/first responder/veteran/country feel which was nice for me as a first responder and military veteran. If that's not your thing it may be a bit much. Service was quick and friendly. Food was out quick. I had the pulled pork and it was, in my mind, perfect. Moist, flavorful, and a good portion size. Seasoned fries were some of the best I've had, not spicy just really well seasoned with good flavor. What tipped the scale for me was a passing waiter, also a veteran, noticed a military tattoo I have and showed me a similar one of his. It was a neat little crossing of paths and nice of the guy to take the time to notice and pass on a compliment.
