Great first experience. Sabrina was excellent and the service outstanding. Enjoyed the crunchy shrimp and grouper! Would come back again and again!
Someone treated me to a dinner at the Prawnbroker Restaurant, recently. I dined there decades ago, however, not much has changed. The food was excellent! This is a seafood restaurant which also had a seafood market within the restaurant! It has a long reputation of fresh seafood and seafood dishes since the 1980's and it is well known within the community. The atmosphere is quiet and casual. No special dress code is required. There is a bar area for those interested. The restaurant has a specially priced menu option for those dining before a certain time. The waitstaff and customer service are excellent. The waitress who served us stated that she has worked there for almost 33 years, I believe. So, it is obvious that the restaurant is loyal to their employees and it seems to be vice versa... (which seems extremely difficult to find, nowadays).

Very enjoyable. This place was voted the best happy hour in Ft Myers and they did not disappoint.
I had a delicious NE clam chowder and fish dip that three of us shared along with two IBC root beer drinks and the total was $18.
Another wonderful dinner at the Prawnbroker, everything was delicious. Started out with oysters, although small, quite tasty.
Entrees included grilled shrimp and scallops and early bird steak special. Salads fresh and bread just out of the oven.
John was very attentive to all our needs.
This was my Dad’s favorite restaurant and he moved to Fort Myers in 1993 , so this place demonstrates its longevity for providing quality seafood and service.
The food was amazing. The waitress must have another job besides here, as she could really have cared less about this party of five. One a former employee of the restaurant for years, another who waitresses her way through high school and then again 25 years later for extra money all three adults tip 25% at fine restaurants with good service. I hope this young lady got a lesson on what happens when you give poor service. You were lucky to get 10%.
