Skip One 41

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Ft Myers and Naples area. Always fresh and always good. I do t care that it’s a dive. It atmosphere is your thing you may not be 100% happy here. If your a foodie, you won’t be disappointed! Blackened Grouper is to die for. Always really good service.

They run fishing boats and sell seafood to local restaurants. The product is fresh and generous. If you pick out one particular fish from the deli case, they cook it any way you want. Don't think anyone uses a portion scale. All the fish is cut on the heavy side. Big portions. Chowder sinks. You stick a spoon in it and it stands up straight. It's soup people. Not side order of potatoes.

5 + STARS I'VE BEEN COMING HERE 4 MORE 20 YRS. ..I'VE NEVER EVER HAD A BAD MEAL, SHRIMP NEVER OVER COOKED. GROUPER ANYTHING THE SERVICE, FOOD, AND FRESHNESS IS BEYOND 5 STARS.. LV THIS PLACE..

I had heard that the seafood, especially fried seafood, is really good. They are not wrong! I had the all you can eat fried shrimp platter with hush puppies, cole slaw and fries. It’s a lot of food and the price is sensible. Tasty, crunchy and hot! That’s how fried seafood should be! Not oily or greasy. The service was friendly and quick and respectful. He forgot a couple of things but overall, he was a good guy. You definitely should visit this place.

This was our second visit to this outstanding local restaurant. The Spicy Shrimp are to die for and the menu is so fresh. We will always make this place a destination dining spot every time we are in town. Forget the chains or other recommendations and sneak in to Skip One for the best seafood hands down on Ft. Myers.
