The Veranda

Wow this place is awesome. With a romantic atmosphere with above and beyond service and the food was superb.
Started with lobster bisque silky smooth with hunks of lobster. Main dish was scallops with mushroom risotto. The scallops melt in your mouth. Mushroom risotto was tasty with bite size pieses of different types of mushrooms.

We had a wonderful evening. The food is fantastic. They wished us a happy anniversary upon arrival and gave us a photo that they took of us so we can remember this special evening. The waiter was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a special event in your life. They even have a very friendly cat outside in the breezeway.

We went to the Veranda in Fort Myers last night for the first time. What a cozy, romantic, classy Victorian place! The food was amazing as well as the service. This will be our “special occasion” restaurant. The bar is nice and there is a piano player also.

Pete was our server and a damn good one. He’s been with the restaurant 21 years and everything he recommended was great. The filet was perfect as was the chocolate pate dessert.

Excellent food and service. old Florida style. Been going to this restaurant for over 20 years and they're still some out of the same employees there as there were 20 years ago. Says a lot about the place. Wonderful place for a night out with a loved one. Don't be in a rush the food can take some time but well worth it.
