Waffle House

Just went there with my kids today. Jennifer was outstanding! Great service, very attentive to my entire party. Keep up the great work!

Food was cooked to order and came quickly. My wife always gets the same thing and is always happy eating there. Time we got there, it was fairly empty, which probably helped.

Adequate for filling of the belly with 24 hour breakfast food. Service with a smile did not happen, but at least the bathrooms were spotless. Waffles were big with ok flavor. Biscuits and gravy dish was the highlight. Grits were average. Next time I'll try the hashbrowns, eggs, and sausage bowl.

I was always used to walking in the door and being greeted with a cherry, "Welcome to Waffle House". This visit - nothing. I sat down and told the Server there would be a 2 ND person joining. She immediately got into a lengthy personal conversation with another Server and both completely ignored everything else around them. When she half turned, I told her I wanted to place the order for both as my other party would be in a hurry when she arrived. I gave her part of the order and she didn't ask any questions and started calling the order to the Cook. I asked for two orders of soft scrambled cheese eggs, bacon - one crisp, and hash browns scattered, smothered, covered & chunked. She never asked what kind of toast. ( I wanted the raisin toast that typically comes with the order, but got white since she never asked. She caught the Cooks error on one of the hash brown orders and had him start it over. She started setting down the plates and I noticed no cheese on the eggs so she had to have the orders redone.
