Blue Dog Bar & Grill

This place was amazing. From the staff to the food! I loved everything about this place. By far the best fried shrimp I've ever had!! I will definitely be going back!!

Air conditioning was down....This is southern Florida in June! Stayed only because we were meeting our of town guests. The staff and service was great. TNT shrimp were very good. Niece had grilled fish sandwich that was very good. I had the fish of the day, hogfish, grilled. The rice was delicious but that was the worse fish I have ever had. Overcooked and unseasoned. The beer list was good....very informative.

A hidden gem. The food and service are great! If you love seafood you have to try this place. A good variety menu. Not fancy, but great food.

The blue dog Bar and Grill was wonderful. I had some crunchy tasty coconut shrimp. Along with a nice glass of white wine. We sat near in the window and the view of the water was so refreshing. The wait staff is friendly and efficient.

This was such a great place to stop in and eat. They are right on the strip heading into Matlacha/Pine Island. My parents discovered this place when exploring the area after moving to Cape Coral and I'm so glad they took us there. The food was great. I had their Cuban sandwich, that thing was a monster of a sandwich and the taste was excellent. The food my family had was also really good, got to try a bit if each. Everyone was extremely satisfied. They also have a really great drink menu that supports some of the local breweries as well. They have an outside seating area that's right by the river and it's great on nice sunny days. I highly recommend checking this place out.
