Il Tesoro Bistro

This was quite the hidden gem during our stay on Captiva. The food was exquisite, delivered hot, pasta fresh having been made just 10 minutes before. Dylan (who waited on us) was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, always helpful without being overbearing even when we were one of just a few couples at dinner early. The portions are sizable, dessert shouldn't be missed, and it feels like a little slice of Europe. (Bonus: you won't be frozen by overdone air conditioning).

What a fantastic authentic Italian restaurant! All fresh made dinners, sauces, pastas! There is nothing wholesale about this awesome restaurant! Try it if you live here or of you're just visiting, it'll amaze your palate!

Service ce was excellent! My dinner chef’s special - sea bass cooked with artichokes mushrooms sundried tomatoes over lemon risotto was incredible! Best meal here on the island!! Definitely will come back!!

My mom and I are on vacation in sanibel for a week and we are currently back here for the second time. When we stumbled across this place the first time, we fell in love with its cozy nook atmosphere. The wine and food specials were fantastic (not surprised at all, the chef moved down here from Manhattan so he knows Italian). Service was also spectacular. They all immediately recognized us as we walked in for the second time.
The sea bass with Parmesan risotto and the lobster ravioli are both absolutely to die for! Highly recommend this place!
