The Clam Shack - New England Seafood

Small but quaint location 5min from beach. The service was warm, friendly and quick. The clam chowder was amazing.

BEST fried shrimp! Oh and the hot lobster roll... OMG. Can’t wait to go back!!! Staff and owners treat you like family.

Went for dinner. Wife had stuffed quahog and 1/2 pint fried clams. Good overall but pretty expensive. I had steamers which were good but not very plentiful. Guess being old and from new England kind of tainted my review. Bloody Mary was lousy, watered down and flavorless. Waiter made it right. Friendly staff. Would go back.

The service was great - we have a 2yo and as soon as we sat down they had our waters and a juice for our son. Didn't even have to ask. They immediately grabbed his food order so they could be prepping his dinner while we browsed the menu. We ordered and his food came out, which he ate most of (I tried it and it was yummy).

The adults had lobster, lobster roll, and Ipswich fried clams. All were great.

The live music was really nice - just the right volume, playing good renditions of classic rock.

But the biggest impression was the amazing attention given to our toddler. Never been to a restaurant so in tune with the needs of a toddler and family, making everyone's experience better. I want to thank you guys so much for that!

We were eager to try this restaurant after reading all of the positive reviews and were not dissapointed! My husband had the fish and chips which was great. I had the clam chowder (best I've ever had) with the fried shrimp platter with corn. Everything was delicious, service was efficient and friendly and we didn't fall off our chairs when we saw the bill. Looking forward to our next visit!
