Island Wing Company Tallahassee

Wasn't sure what to think about baked wings, but they were great! Mac and cheese was excellent as well. Great atmosphere!

Island wing company is a nice place that has some tasty, guilt-free wings (since everything in the restaurant it baked.) I had 10 wings - 5 with the jerk dry rub and the other 5 sweet Thai chili. The jerk rub was great! Not too hot and even had a hint of sweetness. The sweet Thai chili wings were good as well. I really enjoy the crispness of their fries.

Had a great experience last night meeting up with friends for a few after- work drinks and dinner. Live band made the atmosphere enjoyable and lively. Drinks were tasty and food arrived hot. Our server Laura let us know when we sat that the kitchen was taking a little longer than normal , which was smart and was appreciated.(plus it gave us some time to enjoy the company, music and drinks) The manager last night, Dan, stopped over at our table afterwards (also very appreciated) to check on how everything was. Excellent service!! Will be back very soon!
P.S. If you are looking for fast food I suggest you go through a drive through because I'm not sure there is a single sit down restaurant in Tallahassee that is running quickly these days. So why not enjoy the time you are spending while you are out?

This place is cool! Great selection of locally produced craft beers on tap. Samples available so you don't spend your money on beer you don't like. Great wings, fish tacos, burgers; but better than bar food - it's good food with style. Very popular, so there will be a wait, but if you are lucky you can sit down fast at the bar. Live music on Fridays. Specials throughout the week. Great energy here with a local vibe, I will be back!
