Maple Street Biscuit Company- Killearn

It's not a place for a quick bite. The food takes a bit. The eggs are great. My biscuit was a little dry but with apple butter it was wonderful. I enjoy the decor. The cashier was super friendly. It's big so plenty of seats. The menu is extensive with all sorts of choices

I have always liked the food at Maple Street biscuit company. But today’s review is about their community value and how their kind act brightened up a day that was very very difficult for me. I was getting ready to pick up my order and found out my car battery was dead. I had ordered online so I called to see if I could cancel it. Although the food was already made, they were kind enough to cancel it. But in the meantime a friend of mine offered to pick it up from me, so I called back and ordered on the phone (which is faster than ordering online.) I couldn’t pay over the phone, so I was going to Venmo my friend..and she showed up with my food and told me that Maple biscuit company wished me a better day and gave the food for free. I can’t tell you how much this brightened up my day that was going to be so stressful! Not only my car battery died, but was also dealing with passport issue and a very stressful work issue. So thank you Maple Street for being such an Angel, and of course the food was delicious!

The food here is so good, but I decided to try a latte last time too. Usually when it's a restaurant (as opposed to a cafe that specializes in coffee) the lattes are not great. So I was really surprised when I was served one of the best mochas I've had in Tallahassee! Very smooth and not too sweet. Most of the time I have to ask for fewer pumps of mocha, but Maple Street his the perfect combo with no modifications needed. If it was a more convenient location to me I'd make it a regular place for my mocha latte needs!
