Midtown Pies

We have been coming here for years, it's our absolute favorite pizza in town. The Bruno and Bacon Blues Pizzas are our favorite pies. I love the original topping combinations and excellent quality of ingredients.

Tasty big pizzas. Value for money is ok.

I was not quite sure if this place is Midtown pies or Gaines Street pies when we walked in based on marketing on Google vs printing on container products inside. Oh well, the pizzas were tasty and hit a home run with "Honey, I shrunk the pigs" pizza. Honey drizzled on pizza has always been a winner for me and the candied jalapeños, made our day! Hardly any heat, which made it the favorite for our kiddos out of the three different pies. Last thing, more toppings on the pizzas please to reflect the prices paid for pies.

Very good pizza with some unique and interesting topping combinations. My partner is gluten free and she RAVED about their gluten free crust, best she's ever had. I recommend asking for your pizza well done, since otherwise its very flimsy and will collapse under the weight of the toppings, but thats all personal preference.

Stopped by for some takeout. Parking was a little challenging but a simple pass around the block was enough to allow a spot to free up. I had ordered ahead and just needed to run in and grab my order. My order was ready and hot when they promised. The crusts are formed in a press which makes the dough lose its structure and makes it a bit chewy. I found that you can place the pizza in your home oven for ten minutes and crisp up the outside of the crust making a delicious pizza even better.
Many pizza places sell Garlic Knots that are coated in garlic. These are much better. The Garlic is throughout the knot, making a milder more enjoyable Garlic Knot that isn't going to knock your significant other on the floor when you get too close, yet it has the flavor you expect.
We want for the "Not Your Mother's Margarita" and a basic pepperoni pizza. Both were good, both were made with better quality ingredients. Both were made even better by crisping up the crust in the oven. The pepperoni isn't the normal pepperoni most people use. It's a little larger and has really good flavor. I'll be back.
