Super kind staff . One of the only places in town to get actual Chinese Food. A+ Lamb ribs and Mapo tofu.

Truly fabulous customer service-- friendly and so thoughtful about preferences, allergies, and sensitivities..AND some of the best Chinese food we have enjoyed in Tallahassee! Such generous portions too!!!
We just want to see the storefront name clearer street side as we still see the name "china delight" ...Peony River is five stars all the way!

Food is awesome...easily in the top ten of Chinese restaurants I have eaten at. I love that this was brown fried rice and not yellow fried rice as most restaurants here seem to favor. The pan-fried dumplings were so crispy on the outside but moist on the inside. The flavor profile of everything I ate was superb. It really tasted like authentic Chinese and not just a stir fry.
Little confusing with the name China Delite on the road but Peony River inside the restaurant though.

One of the best restaurants in Tallahassee! The food was amazing. The menu was a good size, so there was something good for everyone. Our server was amazing! They were very attentive and polite. They even served us sliced orange slices and candies for dessert, without us asking. The atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming, too. Definitely check it out!

Always great food, and the corn soup is divine. Today, was beef soup with mushrooms and egg. The bowl was HUGE. It was so good and the black pepper flavor was very welcomed. Look forward to trying more in the near future. Be aware, service can be slow sometimes, but we'll worth it. Authentic Chinese Food! Glad to find you here! Very friendly owner! Definitely will come back!
