As someone who used to go to this location when it was Proof, I was excited to try the craft house. Beer prices were a bit high, but they did have specials; just nothing I wanted to drink. Pretzel was fine; chicken dip was tasty but almost too spicy - I tasted more heat than flavor. I'd go back and try other stuff though.
ETA after owner response: I meant that of the beers on special, I didn't find one I wanted. They seemed to be aimed at people who like seltzers and that's just not me. I know that puts me in the minority these days because non-beer drinkers want to pretend they are but so be it. I will try again at another date.
Loved this place. The art and atmosphere alone was worth the trip. Food was good and service was so good we came back for another drink later in the day. Brought the dogs and they were very dog friendly.
Love this spot, though a warning that their hours can be wonky and they're sometimes closed when it says they're open. But pandemic times so they get a pass.
Come here a lot with spouse, a friend, and toddler. Really like their outdoor space, and they've done a really good job of distancing during these times. Also, if it's not a Friday or Saturday, it's even emptier, which is what we've been looking for the few times we've gone out. Heard it fills up on weekends, which sounds great if that's what you like.
Food is solid, as is selection of draft beers. Atmosphere in general is always nice, space is nice, and you have the rest rr square to explore. Parking is easy and service is normally very good.
Especially on the super nice spring and fall Tallahassee days, I'd highly recommend this spot.
A friend and I had a delicious lunch at this woman-owned restaurant just this past week! The food, hers a cabrese veggie burger, mine a mushroom Swiss burger, was very good. According to co-owner Justine, their choices vary from day to day because it’s all fresh. That means you’re in for an adventure each time you visit. We sat outside on the green under the dappled shade of a magnificent wide-spreading pine tree with a number of others on that perfect day. All their beers and wines are crafted, so I chose an exquisite Rose with a hint of sparkle to it.
