Sonny's BBQ

I called in an order for a 5 pm pick up. It was just a gallon of beans and a gallon of slaw. I showed up at 4:45, and the takeout person said they were waiting till 5 to put the order in since it was easy and quick. No problem with that, I know I was early. But, at about 5:10, I am told it is going to be another 20 minutes because they are cooking more beans. I didn't get my food until 5:30. I watched multiple people come and go after ordering food. I had a post wedding family gathering to take the food to, and everyone was waiting on me. The food was good, just disappointed in the communication on the back end.

Ordered a Rib plate and s sampler platter, got double turkey instead of pulled pork. The food was great as usual. Ribs tender and hot, bake beans fantastic and sweet tea divine. I will be back.

Went in last week Thursday ordered my food there was no problem the host at the to go counter was GREAT ... paid for my food and waited however while waiting I could see two guys whom were making the food and preparing the sandwiches.... one young man actually opened i packet of sauce with his teeth/mouth and proceeded to spread the sauce on the sandwich I was completely disgusted and by all means will not return.

Food was pretty good, my wife and I like the sweet and smoky ribs for two!! The garlic bread, fried okra and baked beans are a hit for us. Recently, tried the pulled pork sandwich and it was good!

Two other parties that were seated after us received their food before us. Food was not as good as expected but the fries were delicious!
