The Getaway Grille and Bar

We went here last weekend for the first time. We sat out on the covered patio to listen to great live music and have a cold beer and some dinner. We had the Dagwood sandwich and a fried grouper sandwich. Both were outstanding. The service was excellent. The crowd was friendly and everyone seemed to be having fun. We will be back.

Burger was great and cooked perfectly. Got grouper sanwhich blackened, very generous portion of fish. Owner is great and took the time to check on our food. He shows the pride they take in their restaurant. Coming back for sure!

Wings were great. We had them fried hard. Burger and chicken sandwiches were cooked to perfection and were juicy. Grouper bites and sandwich were great. Didn’t care for the tartar sauce on the grouper sandwich - wish it was sweeter. Onion rings were great - reminded me of the ones I would get as a child at the fair. Getaway sauce needs to be sweeter to set a nice balance between salty and sweet. Shrimp was descent for a place that doesn’t specialise in seafood. Steve and our server were awesome and accomodating. Overall a great experience and I would definitely come back!!!!!!!!!

This business definitely has a lot of potential. It's very small, but you can eat inside or outside. There are lots of workers who are very friendly. I had a burger cooked medium and it was very good. I would have liked a thicker tomato and more lettuce. The ranch dressing is very good...I had a side salad. The owner stopped and asked how everything was. He was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend eating here.

Definitely worth a visit, owner Steve was friendly and welcoming. Bartender/waiter Buster was THE BEST, very helpful and friendly. Good drinks, good food and great space. Enjoyed the outdoor patio will be back for live music on the weekends.
