Uptown Cafe

I am impressed!! It is very hard to please me when it comes to American food but they have officially won me over!! The wait was not long at all, customer service was great and the food came quick!! The first bite and my mind was blown! If you want awesome brunch this is the place to be!!

While visiting Tallahassee we tried breakfast at Uptown Cafe. I don't think it's known for its decor, but that wasn't what we came for. As in most eateries at this time they were understaffed, but our service was excellent and our food supreme. I had the banana bread French toast -- scrumptious! And my spouse had the Uptown combo which he heartily enjoyed. Yum!

Daughter loved the smoked salmon and dill sauce sandwich. I enjoyed the turkey Reuben, but I don't like any black on my bread. The fancy hash browns were fun and filling. Our server was great. You can eat side in or out. All servers wore masks and tables were distanced which I like.

This is one of my favorite places to grab breakfast when I'm in town. The salmon hash and pesto scram are excellent and they give you large portions. Wait staff has always been very friendly and provided great service.

The best breakfast and lunch items in Tallahassee uniquely handcrafted by this family owned business. Also fresh baked pastries to choose from. I know the omelets at Uptown are the best I have ever had. Check the online menu for take out items and also grocery items available. A must try is the delicious bacon that is perfectly prepared. Patio seating available.
