Black Prong Bar & Grill

We found this on the Harvest Host app. This place is gorgeous! We did not get to try out the bar and grill as they were closed the two days we were here. Highly desire to come back. It is well managed and very clean. Lots of walking trails. The pool is gorgeous. Great pickleball court. If you travel with your horses, this is a must!

I’ve been to this wonderful restaurant several times in the last few months. I love the atmosphere and the fact the restaurant and compound are off the beaten path.

The food has proven to be a hit or miss, with more hits than misses. Last night I had the filet mignon and while it was cooked medium, it was a rough piece of beef. I think it had to do more with the quality of the meat than the way it was cooked. The demi-glace wasn’t that good either.

However, the service was one of the best I’ve seen in years. Not only did she notice I wasn’t crazy about the filet, she went out of her way to get me a wagyu skirt steak, that was without a doubt the best entree I’ve had there. It was juicy, flavorful, and super tender. She also gifted me a glass of red wine. By the way, the corn-ancho chile bisque was incredibly light & fluffy with a perfect balance.

Once again, outstanding service accounts for so much. I’m definitely going back.

I must say my second time here was a great experience as well I first came and saw some of my family members play in a band called signature.. tonight which is January 27, 2024 I have my birthday dinner with my friends and family and we had a great time. You will never be disappointed at this place and even if you do they will make it right. We give 10 stars to Jada she was an awesome waitress the food was hot and the salad was good. Give this place a try you won't be disappointed.

Was looking for an evening out someplace different and found this on a chat page and decided to go check it out.. it's definitely an upgrade dress up a bit it is a wee bit expensive and it would be worth it for some of the plates I should have went for the steak but I digress I made mistake of getting tacos they were a let down absolutely hated them one star and I'd give a minus one starting the tacos if I could other than that the drinks were good the chicken parmesan was delicious and the bread loved it it is made in house definitely worth getting on to the desserts the creme brulee absolutely on point delicious enjoyed every spoonful would definitely get that again.
Did not realize you really need to have reservations but we were lucky enough to be able to sit at the bar it was definitely an experience enjoyed everything except for the tacos
( not they're asking my opinion but those were sweet tacos not in a good way needed more onion some tomatoes real sour cream and possibly some avocado especially at that price it needs upgraded and I wonder if they actually tasted their tacos because they're not good or maybe I'm spoiled by good tacos ....7-Eleven tacos which should be absolute Last Resort for is better that is what I compare these to)
