    Rose, our bartender is friendly and attentive. Some local folks hanging out were friendly, talkative and interested in our story and shared their stories...drinks were reasonable. Atmosphere is friendly and inviting.

    Great food and great environment. Very busy but the waitress hustled and made it a good experience. The blackened grouper was excellent. Definitely go back!

    Nothing fancy, as it should be when you're surrounded by marsh, mud and water. Surrounded by windows, hence the name, it's almost open air dining. Without fancy or flair, Big Deck is the perfect spot for a burger and a cold beverage. The service is friendly and casual and the prices won't destroy your wallet. If you can't relax here, you probably can't relax anywhere. Even the cat is laid back.

    The rest of the boardwalk closed up due to cancellations from Tropical Storms Marco and Laura.

    MARCO ......Laura! MARCO.... Laura! [Dad humor]

    However Big Deck was going strong. Short staffed! but she smiled the whole time! Burgers were cooked to perfection. With so many industrial fans blowing the muggy salty open air I wasn't sure I was in Tropical Storm Big Deck. Worked for me considering the temp outside.
