Amazing and unforgettable time! I was lucky to see manatee family of four chilling right under my kayak in crystal turqouise spring. This happened literally in first 5 minutes of kayaking maybe 50 metres from the shore. One manatee even came very close to me to take a breath. Thanks to all the staff, very smooth rental procedure and clear instructions how to handle the kayak (never did it before).

We really enjoyed our time at Manatee Springs! We stayed in the Glamping Experience. It is essentially just a bigger tent with a queen bed but it is super nice and was exactly what we needed. We decided to do the guided kayak tour and we would totally recommend it if you are a beginner like us, Our tour guide , Austin, was super awesome. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. My husband and I are not good paddlers and Austin was very accommodating! We ended up seeing manatees up close, alligators, turtles, and many deer. Manatee Springs is a very good two night trip, I could see that staying any longer may not have much to do. Would totally recommend going even if just for a day visit!

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our guide, Austin, was kind, confident, and knowledgeable about the local plants and wildlife. It was our first time on the water in the area and we felt safe, secure, and had a great time.

This was my first time at Manatee springs and it was amazing! We purposely went on a chillier day because we've been told that's when they are more active and we saw 6!! They all swam right up to us while we were on our kayak. We of course didn't touch any as that is illegal but they were so beautiful and it was such a site to see. Everyone was very nice, helpful, and friendly. I will definitely be back and recommend Manatee Springs to others.

The tandem kayak was in decent condition. We were able to briefly see a few manatee. Getting on the river was difficult paddling due to strong current and a breeze. We moderate paddlers but this is a challenge! Came back to turn in kayak early. 1 hour would’ve been plenty.
