gRub Tropical BBQ

This is a great place to eat. It was recommended by Mike from the resort we were staying at and it didn't disappoint. Modern, new, clean facility. Casual dining with full bar and outside patio. Not sure if it's dog friendly for the outside space, we didn't ask.
The ribs are delicious. We also had the peri chicken which was also good.
Very warm welcoming staff.
Great place to watch big games. World Cup for ex. Parking is limited however street parking is available.

What a fun atmosphere and delicious food. Mojo pork empanadas were perfect, cucumber salad was fabulous, and the whole fam left happy with our choices. We’ve been visiting for 4 years, and decided to try out a new place and so glad we did.

A really great place. The inside is comfortable and very nice. The ribs are fantastic, and I really, really loved the sauce--it has a sweet and sour vibe. The banana pudding was sweetened just right, and delicate. This is a wonderful addition to Anna Maria Island, and I look forward to coming back again soon.

Absolutely loved this place. It's new and the spin on healthy BBQ didn't disappoint. It was refreshing to have a cucumber salad with my mojo pork sandwich. My wife got the chicken salad and it was great as well. I wish I got the ladies name that worked at the bar but she was a breath of fresh air from all the rudeness that comes from most of the people on the island. She helped us picked out some great "gRub". Will definitely make this a must go every vacation year to the island. Only negative is the parking sucks on pine Ave and AMI just keeps eliminating parking. Just ride the trolley or take a nice walk if you're close enough. We got there at the perfect time and parked our golf cart right out front. This is a definite go because it's not something traditional, it's a different spin on BBQ

Excellent, prompt and efficient service. Love the tropical menu twist on the typical bbq. The seasoning was a little heavy, but very flavorful. Good sides, portions perfect and love the ambiance with the indoor/outdoor space. We’ll definitely be back soon.
